Ford Electric Vehicles

INTO THE FUTURE WITH FORD

Now you can experience the power, performance and additional benefits of driving an all-electric vehicle from Ford.

All-Electric Vehicles: Leaving Myths in the Dust

Forget what you thought you knew about electric vehicles. See how future-facing Ford battery electric vehicles zap the myths.

Electric Exhilaration

Think battery electric vehicles and speed don't mix? Prepare for a jaw-drop.

Electric Vehicle vs. the Elements

What happens when an all-electric vehicle meets the extreme conditions of a punishing snow and subzero temp (as low as -40F!) test?

All-Electric F-150

An electric vehicle that's Built Ford Tough? You bet. Watch the prototype tow more than 1 million pounds.

The F-150 prototype is towing far beyond a production truck's capacity in a one-time short event demonstration. Never tow beyond a vehicle's towing capacity. Always consult the owner's Manual.

All-Electric Incentives

Going all-electric is as easy on your wallet as it is on your lifestyle. Drivers of all-electric vehicles can enjoy potential government incentives, no gas usage, zero vehicle emissions and lower scheduled maintenance costs.

Federal and State Incentives

You may qualify for as much as $7,500 in federal tax incentives for purchasing an all-electric Ford vehicle in 2020. The federal tax credit is a potential future tax savings. The amount of your tax savings will depend on your individual tax circumstances. Many states also offer additional rebates and incentives for electric vehicle customers - up to $2,500 in certain cases. For additional information, go to
https://www.afdc.energy.gov/laws/409

Scheduled Maintenance - Estimated 35% lower Costs vs. Comparable Vehicles

Electric vehicles have fewer moving parts, which could potentially lower scheduled maintenance costs.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E has fewer moving parts than a gas-powered 2020 Escape, which could potentially lower scheduled maintenance costs.

*Drivers of all-electric vehicles may be eligible for government incentives, will use no gas and may have lower scheduled maintenance costs.
***Scheduled maintenance costs based on recommended service schedule as published in the owner's manual. Analysis reflects Ford Motor Company's standard method for calculating scheduled maintenance cost and reflects data available in 2018 and 2019.
**See https://afdc.energy.gov/laws/409. This information should not be construed as a promise of potential tax savings or reduced tax liability. Consult your tax advisor for the amount of credit you may be eligible for.

Other Available Utility Savings and Incentives

You could be eligible for additional savings. Local utility companies may offer additional rebates or lower charging rates for electric vehicle owners. Check with your local utility provider for complete details.

$893 of Potential Annual Savings on Fuel

Potentially save more than time at the gas station. A customer choosing an electric vehicle with a battery electric efficiency of 32.9 kWh could save an estimated $893 in annual fuel costs compared with a gas-powered vehicle with an EPA-estimated rating of 20 mpg combined.

See https://www.eia.gov/electricity/?t=epmt%205%206%20a. Based on standard fuel price and vehicle usage assumptions. Estimated savings of $893 based on 10,000 miles per year, EPA-estimated 20 mpg combined gasoline for gas-powered vehicle, gasoline cost of $2.64/gallon, domestic electricity cost of $0.13/kWh, all-electric efficiency of 32.9 KWH/100 miles for battery-powered vehicle and all charging carried out at home. Actual savings will vary with conditions such as external elements, driving behaviors, vehicle maintenance, fuel price fluctuations, charging habits and lithium-ion battery age.

MOVING FORWARD WITH ELECTRIC ENERGY

New all-electric vehicles from Ford offer an efficient and exhilarating driving experience. The energized performance can already be seen in the Mustang Mach-E, which takes less than half a second to reach peak acceleration.* Plus, there are minimal scheduled maintenance costs, zero vehicle emissions, available tax incentives and plenty of other incentives that make for a seamless switch into electric energy. To make it even easier, Ford also offers a network of simple charging methods whether you're at home or on the road.

*Calculated via peak performance of the electric motor(s) at peak battery power. Your results may vary.
